Shake it Out!

Our love is questioned, such a mournful sound
Tonight I’m gonna bury that horse in the ground
So I like to keep my issues drawn
But it’s always darkest before the dawn

Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it’s hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa

This is a song full of hope and desires of dancing!
I love it again, because it doesn’t hide the bad or the ugly. We all have our inner “demon” or “Ego” as some would like to call it. When you let your Ego take over you are disconnecting from your spirit. The further away you get, the harder it is to come back. What we must understand about the Ego is that it is… Us. I am my Ego and my Ego is me. It isn’t wise to “kill it” as some would suggest. You must accept yourself. Completely for who you are and where you are in your life right now. Forgive yourself. And love yourself for it as well. Every experience is a learning experience. And don’t ever forget that everything happens for a reason. We might be unaware of it at the moment, but don’t be fooled. The Higher Purpose is always present. So… let go of regrets, don’t be afraid to feel, shake off all the negative in your life (people, things, emotions) and remember… It’s always darkest before the dawn. It’s only after being real low in my life that I could really realize and appreciate everything I was taking for granted. The bad stuff never lasts. It gets better. Sometimes it gets great. Here’s hoping things are great for you =]

This is my fav cover by the Glee cast:
